Are you frustrated when your picture doesn't turn out how you envisioned it? Is it lacking that “feeling” that you had when you took it? This workshop is designed to help you “see” (pre-visualize) the shot that you want to take. Compositional techniques and lighting are major factors that affect the overall “feel” or “mood” of an image. The goal in this lecture style workshop is to provide you with practical knowledge on pre-visualizing your shots to help insure your images have the impact you desire.
- Camera with Aperture / Shutter / Manual shooting modes
- Charged battery for camera
- Memory card
- User manual for camera
- Tripod / shutter release
Topics discussed will include:
- Brief review of basic camera functions
- Compositional rules & guidelines

Utilizing presentations &/or hands-on shooting assignments, I will help you better understand your camera and begin to take creative control of it.
