Do you have a digital camera with so many functions, features, and controls that you have no idea where to begin? Do you leave your camera on "Auto" and hope for the best? Are you frustrated when your picture doesn't turn out how you envisioned it?
This workshop is designed to help you understand and comprehend the world of digital photography. Whether you are new to using a digital camera, or have been using it for awhile on "Auto", this hands-on class covers the fundamentals of camera operation. My goal is to provide you with the confidence required to set you off on your own photographic journey... all while making it fun!
Topics discussed will include:
- Camera features, controls, & functions
- Aperture, Shutter, & Manual shooting modes
- Understanding light & exposure
- Basic composition techniques
- Camera with Aperture / Shutter / Manual shooting modes
- Charged battery for camera
- Memory card
- User manual for camera
While this course is tailored for those with 'removable lens' camera systems, many of the topics will carry over to advanced 'point & shoot' systems.
