At the turn of the last century, British Columbia's coastal salmon fishery was a major economic driver. The shoreline of the Fraser River in Steveston was lined with docks, boardwalks, and canneries. Keeping the fleet operating and in good repair fell to the skilled tradesmen & craftsmen of the Britannia Shipyard.
